பாலஸ்தீனத்தின் மீது இஸ்ரேல் நடத்தி வரும் தாக்குதல் நாளுக்குக் நாள் தீவிரமடைந்து வருகிறது. கடந்த 9 மாதங்களாக நடந்து வரும் போரில் சுமார் 37,834 பாலஸ்தீனியர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர், 86,858 படுகாயமடைந்துள்ளனர் என்று பாலஸ்தீன சுகாதார அமைச்சகம் நேற்று அதிகாரபூர்வ அறிக்கையை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. இந்த போரினால் அதிகம் பாதிப்புக்குள்ளானது பெண்களும் குழந்தைகளிலுமே ஆவர்.
அமைதிப் பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைப்பு, போர் நிறுத்த முன்மொழிவு என உலக நாடுகளும் ஐ.நா சபையும் இந்த போரை முடிவுக்கு கொண்டுவர பல வகையில் முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொண்டு வந்தாலும் அது அனைத்திலும் தோல்வி அடைந்துள்ளது.
அதை உறுதி செய்யும் வகையில் பாலஸ்தீன நகரங்களான காசா மற்றும் ரஃபாவில் உள்ள பொதுமக்களின் பலி எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்த வண்ணம் உள்ளது. நேற்று ரஃபாவில் மக்கள் வசிக்கும் கூடாரங்கள் மீது இஸ்ரேல் பொழிந்த குண்டுமழையில் 11 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர். மேலும் பலர் படுகாயமடைந்தனர்.
இந்நிலையில் கடந்த 24 மணி நேரத்தில் மற்றும் காசா நகரத்தின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளின் மீது இஸ்ரேல் நடத்திய தாக்குதலில் 40 பேர் உயிரிழந்துள்ளனர் என்று பாலஸ்தீனிய சுகாதார அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.இதற்கிடையில் இஸ்ரேலுடனான போர் நிறுத்த ஒப்பந்த முன்மொழிவை ஏற்படுத்தும் பணிகளில் எந்த முன்னேற்றமும் ஏற்படவில்லை என ஹமாஸ் தரப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. போர் நிறுத்தத்துக்கு ஹமாஸ் தயாராக உள்ள நிலையில் இஸ்ரேல் அதை மறுத்துவருவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
