காத்மாண்டு: நேபாளத்தில் 19 பேருடன் புறப்பட்ட விமானம் ஒன்று ஓடுபாதையில் இருந்து சறுக்கி, தரையில் மோதி தீப்பிடித்தது. இந்த விபத்தில் 18 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர். ஒரு விமானி மட்டும் காயங்களுடன் மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.நேபாளம் தலைநகர் காத்மாண்டுவில் உள்ள திரிபுவன் சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்தில் இருந்து பொக்காராவுக்கு சவுரியா ஏர்லைன்ஸ் விமானம் புறப்பட்டது. 19 பேருடன் சென்ற இந்த விமானம், திடீரென ஓடுபாதையில் இருந்து சிறிது தூரம் பறந்ததும், கட்டுப்பாட்டை இழந்து கீழே விழுந்தது. இதில் விமானம் தீப்பிடித்து எரிந்தது.
விமானத்தில் பயணித்த 19 பேரில் 18 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர். ஒரு விமானி மட்டும் காயங்களுடன் மீட்கப்பட்டு மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். விபத்து நடைபெற்றதை அடுத்து, திரிபுவன் சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் மூடப்பட்டது.
