சுரங்கத்தில் சிக்கிய 41 தொழிலாளர்களை கடுமையாக போராடி மீட்ட இந்தியாவின் விடா முயற்சிக்கு ஆஸ்திரேலிய பிரதமர் ஆண்டனி அல்பனீஸ் பாராட்டு தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.இதுகுறித்து அவர் எக்ஸ் தளத்தில் வெளியிட்டுள்ள பதிவில், “ இந்திய அதிகாரிகள் அற்புதமான சாதனையை நிகழ்த்தியுள்ளனர். சுரங்கப் பணியாளர்களை மீட்க களத்தில் நின்று அயராது போராடியதில் ஆஸ்திரேலிய பேராசிரியர் அர்னால்ட் டிக்ஸ் பங்களிப்பை பெருமையாக கருதுகிறேன் என்று அல்பனீஸ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
