மாலத்தீவில் நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள இந்திய ராணுவ வீரர்களை மார்ச் 15க்குள் திருப்ப பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுமாறு அந்நாட்டு அதிபர் முகம்மது மொய்சு தெரிவித்துள்ளார். பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடிக்கு எதிராகவும், இந்தியாவுக்கு எதிராகவும் மாலத்தீவு அமைச்சர்கள் 3 பேர் கருத்து தெரிவித்ததைத் தொடர்ந்து இருநாடுகளுக்கும் இடையே இராஜாங்க ரீதியிலான உறவில் விரிசல் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில் மாலத்தீவு அரசு இவ்வாறு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.கடந்த 2023ம் ஆண்டு மாலத்தீவில் நடந்த தேர்தலில் மக்கள் தேசிய காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர் முகமது முய்சு புதிய அதிபராக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார். சீன ஆதரவாளரான அவர் ஆட்சிப் பொறுப்பேற்றது முதல் இந்தியாவுக்கு எதிராக செயல்பட்டு வருவதாக நம்பப்படுகிறது. நவம்பர் மாதம் அதிபர் மாளிகை வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கை ஒன்றில், “செப்டம்பரில் நடந்த அதிபர் தேர்தலில், இந்தியாவிடம் வலுவான கோரிக்கை வைக்க மக்கள் எனக்கு ஆணை பிறப்பித்துள்ளனர். மாலத்தீவு மக்களின் ஜனநாயக விருப்பத்துக்கு இந்தியா மதிப்பளிக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறோம்” என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.
இதனிடையே கடந்த 8ம் தேதி அவர் சீனாவுக்கு சென்றார். அப்போது மாலத்தீவின் சுற்றுலா வளர்ச்சிக்கு சீனா ஒத்துழைக்கும் என்பது உள்பட இரு நாடுகளுக்கும் இடையே 20 ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையெழுத்தாகின. இந்தப் பயணத்தினைத் தொடர்ந்து அதிபரின் இந்த அறிவிப்பு வந்திருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இதனை அதிபர் மாளிகையில் உள்ள மூத்த அதிகாரி அப்துல்லா நஜிம் உறுதி செய்துள்ளார். அவர் கூறுகையில், “இந்திய ராணுவ வீரர்கள் இனி மாலத்தீவில் தங்கியிருக்க முடியாது. இது அதிபர் முகமது முய்சு மற்றும் இந்த அரசாங்கத்தின் கொள்கையாகும்” என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இரண்டு நாள் பயணமாக கடந்த 2-ம் தேதி லட்சத்தீவு சென்ற பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி, தனது பயண அனுபவம் குறித்து எக்ஸ் சமூக வலைதள பக்கத்தில் பகிர்ந்திருந்தார். அதோடு, அங்கு எடுக்கப்பட்ட பல்வேறு புகைப்படங்களை பிரதமர் பகிர்ந்திருந்தார். இந்நிலையில், அதை விமர்சிக்கும் வகையில் சர்ச்சையான கருத்தை சமூக வலைதள பதிவு மூலமாக தெரிவித்திருந்தனர் மாலத்தீவு அமைச்சர்களான மரியம் ஷியூனா, மல்ஷா ஷரீப் மற்றும் அப்துல்லா மஹ்சூம் மஜித் ஆகியோர். இது சமூக வலைதளங்களில் கவனம் பெற்றது.இதற்கு இந்திய அரசு தரப்பில் விளக்கம் கேட்கப்பட்டது. அதே நேரத்தில் மாலத்தீவின் முன்னாள் அதிபர் முகமது நஷீத் மற்றும் எதிர்க்கட்சியினர் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்தனர். அங்கு ஆட்சியில் உள்ள முகமது முய்சு அரசுக்கு அழுத்தம் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட சூழலில் சர்ச்சை கருத்து தெரிவித்த மூன்று அமைச்சர்களும் சஸ்பெண்ட் செய்யப்பட்டனர். இதனால் இருநாட்டு அரசுகளுக்கு இடையிலான உறவில் விரிசல் ஏற்பட்டது. இந்த நிலையில் அதன் புதிய திருப்பமாக அதிபர் முகமது முய்சு சனிக்கிழமை செய்தியாளர்களை சந்தித்த போது, “நாங்கள் சிறிய நாடாக இருக்கலாம் அதற்காக எங்களை கொடுமைப் படுத்தும் உரிமை யாருக்கும் கிடையாது” என்று தெரிவித்திருந்தார்
