சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ: காசா மீது இஸ்ரேல் தொடுத்து வரும் போரை பல்வேறு நாடுகளும் கண்டித்து வருகின்றன. இந்நிலையில் இஸ்ரேலுக்கு ஆயுதங்களை வழங்கக்கூடாது என சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ விமான நிலையத்தை முற்றுகையிட்டு அமெரிக்கர்கள் சிலர் போராட்டம் நடத்தியிருப்பது பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
இஸ்ரேல்-ஹமாஸ் போரை நிறுத்துவது குறித்து பல்வேறு தரப்பினர் வலியுறுத்தியும் கூட இஸ்ரேல் பிரதமர் நெதன்யாகு, இதற்கு தயாராக இல்லை. காசாவில் ஹமாஸ் படையை ஒழிக்கும் வரை போர் தொடரும் என்று அவர் கொக்கரித்துள்ளார். இவரது கருத்துக்கு பல்வேறு தரப்பினரும் கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.
இஸ்ரேல் நாட்டு மக்களே இந்த கருத்துக்கு எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து போராட்டங்களில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர். மறுபுறம் ஐநா சபையில் போர் நிறுத்தம் குறித்து சீனா, ரஷ்யா உள்ளிட்ட நாடுகள் தீர்மானத்தை கொண்டு வரும்போதெல்லாம் அமெரிக்கா தனது வீட்டோ அதிகாரத்தை பயன்படுத்தி தள்ளுபடி செய்துவிடும். மட்டுமல்லாது இஸ்ரேலுக்கு தற்போதுவரை அமெரிக்கா ஆயுதங்களை சப்ளை செய்து வருகிறது
.இதனால் சுமார் 30,000க்கும் அதிகமான பாலஸ்தீன மக்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இதில் பாதிக்கும் மேற்பட்டவர்கள் பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. ஏவுகணைகளும், பீரங்கி குண்டுகளும் தாக்கி பலர் கொல்லப்பட்டாலும், போர் ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ள பசி, பட்டினியாலும் உயிரிழப்புகள் அதிகரிக்க தொடங்கியுள்ளன.
சர்வதேச நாடுகள் அனுப்பிய உணவு, மருந்து பொருட்கள் எகிப்தின் ராஃபா எல்லையில் நிறுத்தி வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. இந்நிலையில், போர் நிறுத்தம் உடனடியாக வேண்டும் என்று குரல்கள் ஏறத்தாழ எல்லா நாடுகளிலும் எழுந்திருக்கின்றன. நேற்று அமெரிக்காவின் சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ விமான நிலையத்தை சிலர் முற்றுகையிட்டு காசா மீதான போர் நிறுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளனர்.
சுமார் 300க்கும் மேற்பட்ட போராட்டக்காரர்கள் சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ விமான நிலையத்தின் முகப்பு பகுதியை முற்றுகையிட்டு, அமெரிக்க அரசின் நடவடிக்கைக்கு எதிரான குரலை எழுப்பினர். அமெரிக்கா இஸ்ரேலுக்கு ஆயுதங்களை சப்ளை செய்ய கூடாது என்றும் அவர்கள் முழக்கமிட்டனர்.
சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்னர் அமெரிக்காவின் விமானப்படையை சேர்ந்த வீரர் ஒருவர், காசா மீதான போர் நிறுத்தத்தை வலியுறுத்தி தற்கொலை செய்துக்கொண்டார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
