காசாவில் நிலவும் பஞ்சத்துக்கு மத்தியில் ஊட்டச்சத்து குறைபாடு மற்றும் போதிய மருத்துவ வசதியின்மை காரணமாக உயிரிழந்த குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 16 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.இஸ்ரேல்- காசா போர் இன்னும் நீடித்து வரும் நிலையில், காசா நகரில் உதவி கோரி வந்த மக்கள் மீது இஸ்ரேலியப் படைகள் மீண்டும் துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு நடத்தியதாகவும், மற்றொரு பயங்கரமான தாக்குதலில் நூற்றுக்கணக்கானோர் காயமடைந்துள்ளதாகவும் காசாவில் உள்ள சுகாதார அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
மேலும், காசாவில் ஊட்டச்சத்து குறைபாடு மற்றும் போதிய மருத்துவ வசதியின்மை காரணமாக உயிரிழந்த குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 16 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்நிலையில், “காசா மக்கள் பட்டினியால் வாடுகின்றனர். காசாவில் ‘உடனடியான போர்நிறுத்தம்” தேவை என்று அமெரிக்க துணை அதிபர் கமலா ஹாரிஸ் அழைப்பு விடுத்துள்ளார்.
ஜெருசலேமில் உள்ள ஷாரே செடெக் மருத்துவ மையத்தில் இருதய தீவிர சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவு நடத்திய ஆய்வில், காசா போருக்குப் பிறகு இஸ்ரேலில் மாரடைப்பு 35 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது எனவும், போர் காலத்தின் தாக்கம் தெளிவாக காணப்படுவதாகவும், மன அழுத்தம், பதற்றம் மற்றும் பயம் ஆகியவை இதய நோய்க்கு முக்கிய காரணிகளாக இருப்பதாகவும் ஆய்வுகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
கடந்த 24 மணி நேரத்தில் இஸ்ரேலிய குண்டுவீச்சில் 100-க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் பலியாகியுள்ளனர். இதனால் இஸ்ரேல் நடத்திய தாக்குதலில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 30,534 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக காசா சுகாதார அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மேலும், 71,920 பேர் காயமடைந்துள்ளனர். முன்னதாக, ஹமாஸ் தாக்குதலில் 1,139 இஸ்ரேலியர்கள் பலியாகியிருப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
காசாவில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான குழந்தைகளின் மறுவாழ்வு என்பது இப்போது எடுக்கப்படும் அவசர நடவடிக்கையில்தான் இருக்கிறது என்பதில் எந்தவித மறுப்புமில்லை.
